40 Days of Worship

On 24 September with sunset, believers from Robertson and surrounding areas gathered at the Cross to mark the beginning of the 40 Days of Worship.

It was a wonderful time of coming together in unity to glorify our Lord and Saviour and to pray and intercede not just for our country, but also for rain in the Western Cape, a Godly government, etc.

What is 40 Days of Worship?

It is a Holy Assembly of the Church of Christ, gathering to worship in Spirit and in Truth (John 4:24), in a focused and intense way.  This expression of worship will take place all over South Africa but with a special focus of organised events in Cape Town, starting 24th September until 3rd November 2017. It will also be a personal commitment between each worshipper and the Father. People will prioritise and dedicate their time to worship the Lord publicly in malls, on beaches, on the mountains, in schools, in their work places or wherever the Spirit leads. Each individual will worship the Lord so that all may see His Glory manifested through His Church, united in one purpose as an expression of praise and adoration for Him.

Unity of the Body of Christ is essential, therefore the aim is to develop various connections with those who really want to worship and exalt King Jesus, the only One worthy to receive all glory and honour.

All nations whom You have made shall come and worship before You, O Lord, and shall glorify Your name.
Psalm 86:9
