Mozambique Short Term Mission Trip

During June and July we will be
going on a short term mission trip to Mozambique. We will be
visiting and ministering with Iris Ministries, a
non-denominational Christian mission to orphaned and abandoned
children (www.irismin.org),
which was founded by Heidi and Rolland Baker, who have been
working in missions for over 25 years.
In 1995, they
arrived in Mozambique, the poorest country in the world.
The government offered Iris Ministries a horribly
dilapidated and neglected "orphanage," and with no
promised support such a project they simply said, "Yes,
we'll take it!" They began with eighty children, but
their hearts were broken for the lost and abandoned
children still on the streets of Maputo. After many
years of brutal civil war, thousands left orphaned,
displaced and abandoned, lots of them living of the
rubbish dumps. The Mozambican and foreign staff of Iris
Ministries began to pick up and take in these lost
children. God poured down his love and provided food day
by day. They planted a church in the community and began
to see hundreds turn their hearts to the Lord. Today
Iris Ministries feeds over 3 000 orphans and abandoned
children, and have planted more that 5 000 churches
throughout Mozambique. They also reach children on other
continents.

We should lift our vision
higher, heavenward into the upcoming sun (Sun of
Righteousness (Mal 4:2)...soaring like eagles and shedding
our old tatty feathers of intellectual identity in an divine
exchange for clothes and white feathers of light - the
light of His glory... feeding of Him whilst He fills our new
beaks (mouths) with joy and laughter of the heavenly kind,
learning to know the love of Jesus, not mere knowledge of
Him.
As the eagle retires to a high
rocky crag,
hide yourself in the Rock
of the Ages (Jesus Himself)....Moses and God's glory) when we
rise above our age, young or old and sit in high places in Him
...come up hither Rev 4:1) (Petra (situated in Jordan) is a 6
mile rock cleft for us... )
When time of renewal come, the eagle sheds it old feathers.
Likewise, we should become naked, open and transparent, like
before the fall, before our King and get rid of our false and
wrong beliefs.

change and transform you until your intellectual identity falls
of and your identity in Him starts to break forth like the
daybreak and the Morningstar rises in your heart and you start
to shine like a star (Dan 12:3)... Then you will gain back your
name (who you are in him ) and your language
(language of the Holy Spirit) who quickens Jesus in you, verse
upon verse, not dead religious letter upon dead religious
letter, but living Spirit word upon living Spirit word... I pray
that God will open the spiritual eyes of your understanding (Eph
1:18). Do not feed of your own strength, but by the spiritual
mouth of God .. the Word called Jesus... Rev 4:1 - the living
Bread and life-giving Water! (eating only fresh meat and manna

Wait upon the Lord, for His strength from on high. Die to the
old egotistical self...if a seed doesn't die in ground, it will
not sprout to full bloom... Then spiritually speaking, the Holy
Spirit, like a white dove of peace and joy, gives you new
feathers, spiritual eyes and ears and the ability to soar on the
wings of the wind of the Holy Spirit (John 3:8) Then and only
then, renewal will come and you will receive new spiritual
strength.
Now your youth is renewed like the eagle.
Immortality and eternal life, like Enoch at the age of
365, full life cycle like in 365 days, or full year in the
fullness of time taken up in old age ...his youth renewed like
an eagle into the heavens by faith (Heb 11:5) He soared into
the heavens, immortality gained... Now Jesus are way to be
reborn through the power from on high, the Holy Spirit...to have
immortality and eternal life, having like an eagle power over
second death.. But only through Jesus and the resurrection life
of the Holy Spirit - like an eagle renewed, after hiding in and
on a High rock, the Rock of Ages Himself)

"renewal" here mentioned is not that of the mind itself in its
natural powers of memory, judgment and perception, but "the

indwelling Holy Spirit, directs its bent and energies Godward in
the enjoyment of "fellowship with the Father and with His Son,
Jesus Christ," and of the fulfillment of the will of God.

of the moral and spiritual vision and thinking to the mind of
God, which is designed to have a transforming effect upon the
life; in Tit 3:5, where "the renewing of the Holy Spirit" is not
a fresh bestowment of the Spirit, but a revival of His power,
developing the Christian life; this passage stresses the
continual operation of the indwelling Spirit of God; the Romans
passage stresses the willing response on the part of the
believer.

change it and 9 others to pray against the spirit of darkness.

evangelists does it take to change a light bulb? One. But for

How many
Unitarians does it take to change a lightbulb? We choose not to
make a statement either in favor of or against the need for a
light bulb. However, in your own journey you have found that
light bulbs work for you, that is fine. You are invited to write
a poem or compose a modern dance about your light bulb for the
next Sunday service, in which we will explore a number of light
bulb traditions, including incandescent, fluorescent, three-way,
long-life and tinted, all of which are equally valid paths to
luminescence.
Be a Godly kind of eagle, living in a heavenly land, outside
time and space, right here on earth where the heavens meet the
earth. It is in your heart, for "Do not look here or there for
the kingdom of God is inside you (Luke 17:21)..in, amongst and
surrounding you, as well as bigger than you). Then the eagles
of flesh will change into spiritually immortal beings, flying
towards the light of the world (Jesus) being given as a heavenly
gift, where eagles soar from our Father of lights. Being born
from above...coming up hither... Lifting your thoughts to His
thoughts and being transformed from a magnificent physical eagle
to a eagle of the spiritual kind, gliding effortlessly on the
wind of the Holy Spirit.." for you have come have
come..." Heb 12:24 at the heavenly Jerusalem... a spiritual
country where spiritual eagles fly high on the power of
the triune God ...
Be blessed, be free, be bold, be
abundant in Him and keep soaring!
