The Holy Spirit urged me to read Genesis from a Spirit driven Christological point of view. I haven’t read Genesis for quite a while as I have been busy with Paul’s letters. This is also the first fruit of a series of new books I am working on called Jesus from Genesis to Revelation, a series of 66 books based on the Bible books in order to overcome/conquer the flesh (66 books of God’s Word written specifically for that purpose) 666 being the number of man on the selfish throne of his/her own heart instead of God …

Let us jump into the river of joy, and drink deeply…

A couple of words were strongly revealed and quickened by the Holy Spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to reveal it. Let it hit you, and ride the big waves of the Spirit.

Verse 1:Lets look at the word” Beginning”…and how it is reflected in other Scripture by focusing on Jesus Christ. John 1:1: In the Beginning the Word was with God, and the word was God and nothing was created without the word…and Rev 19:13 says His (Jesus) new name is the Word of God. Right from the first word God created in the first sentence Jesus was present and at work in all His glory. Therefore we can say with absolute surety that Christ stand central to all of Scripture and to all spiritual experience.

Verse 2:Hovered/glided and presided. As analogy or eagle typology, the Spirit hovered/glided like the wind; in John 3:8 it says that the wind blows where it will, bringing refreshing everywhere it goes. So are we that are born of the Spirit - we should stop trying to put people into our little comfort box of religion, and let them run free on the winds of the Holy Spirit.

Lets look at the word “waters”. In John 5:7-8 it is written that three testify on earth: the Water, the Blood and the Spirit. In Eph 6:17 the Sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. In other words, the Spirit hovers over the Word in us – the same Word which He is busy exploding in us through revelation and quickening.

Verse 3:”God has said”…through the Word Jesus Rev 19:13… Let there be light - in us and through us! Matt 5:16 commands us to let our light shine, through us for the Father of lights (us, the body of Jesus). When you minister to others, say let there be light, and let your words be like that of your Father (1 Pet 4:10 –11). Let Jesus, the light of the world, be manifested in us; let there be “Jesus” in us, the hope of glory by faith (Col 1:27) and test yourself whether Jesus is in you by faith (2 Cor 13:5).

Verse 4:“separated, divided “God has separated us from darkness by bringing us into His glorious Kingdom of light of His Son through the blood of the Lamb. Concepts like “inner healing” as a process is a lie based on lack of knowledge, and a lack of childlike Kingdom manifesting faith. Do not allow a lack of knowledge of who you are and what you have to rob you of your identity. Christ in us the hope of glory, the dividing Word/Jesus (Heb 4:12) separating you from darkness. Darkness and light does not go together. They are altogether separate, for God has separated them.

Verse 5:“light”…Are you light? Or are you darkness? Today choose (Deut 31) life or death, darkness or light!

Verse 6: All truth are parallel and sometimes direct opposites of the same coin Before the separation of the waters, it was one big water ball. Today after Christ died for us, again all of us live in a blue water ball of the heavenly kind. Spiritually speaking, right now in 2007… there is no separation between us and the Word - we dwell in the water, we are in the water. The living water of Christ - us in the Water, in the Word, in Jesus, submerged and baptized in Him, never to leave the water again!

Like Ezekiel’s water out of the east (the rising sun) Jesus the Son of our Father; its about son ship…God wants many sons and daughters molded after His firstborn; to act like Him (our heavenly Father). Ezekiel thus prophesied us in Him (in the rising tide of the living Water from the east where the Morningstar goes up in our hearts just before sunrise, reflecting His glory in the early hours of the day, reflecting of the living waters in us, us in Him! The Water bath, the Word, enfolded in His Spirit …surrounding us, bigger than us…

Verse 8-10: “Heaven”  …here we have  the opportunity illustrate the “fullness of teaching”. Are you in heavenly places, in the water baptism of the Word, in Jesus? Are you in heavenly places and are you light? Or are you earthly (dry) and full of darkness? Do you live in a dead sea of sin, or are you salt and light? A heavenly being who already sits and reigns with King Jesus?

Heaven = water

Earth = dry

Sea = sin

Where does your thought life transport you? – Right into the heavenlies, into the Throne Room, into the Holy of Holies, in Him, King Jesus? It is a choice made by faith - Childlike Kingdom manifesting faith of the fullness kind. Be sure to make that choice today!

A preacher was completing a temperance sermon; with great expression he said, "If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and throw it into the river."

With even greater emphasis he said, "And if I had all the wine in the world, I'd take it and throw it into the river."

And then finally, he said, "And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I'd take it and throw it into the river."

He sat down.

The song leader then stood very cautiously and announced with a smile, "For our closing song, let us sing Hymn # 365: "Shall We Gather at the River."
