WWW:Wonders
Today we look at the last aspect of WWW, which is Wonders.
Eating and meditating on the Word, and joyously worshipping with all your heart, should lead to wonders flowing through you. When you truly operate in agape love, Godly love, signs, wonders and miracles will follow you. If they don’t follow, you and I should ask ourselves if we are truly manifesting Godly love. A sure sign of Godly love and compassion in your heart will result in the flow of the spiritual gifts through signs, wonders and miracles. We can do no less because the love of God constrains, guides and rules us… (2 Co 5;14) and love can be known only from the actions it prompts. How will people know you love them if it does not translate into action, through signs, wonders and miracles?
It may start with a short word of encouragement, but goes much further and encompasses all the gifts of the Spirit e g healing, words of wisdom and knowledge, prophecy, faith, powers, etc (1 Cor 12:4-11). You can seldom claim that you are manifesting the fruit of the Spirit, if you do not flow in the gifts of the Spirit. The fruit of righteousness refers to the righteous deeds of believers. If we do not manifest the righteous deeds, we cannot bear the fruit. It is one Holy Spirit in which the fruit, gifts and power resides; you can not choose just one part and neglect the others.
When last did God heal through your hands, or used your words to encourage someone? When last did you minister through a prophecy or word of wisdom and knowledge?
… for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.
For he who serves Christ in these things is well-pleasing to God, and approved by men.
So then let us pursue the things of peace, and the things for building up one another. Rom 14:17-19
