| His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. Rev 19:12-13 |
| Well of Wisdom |
| In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1). Who and what is the Word? Jesus is the Word! He is the Book of Life, the Tree of Life, the Volume of the Book in which the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily (Col 2;9-10). His new name is the Word of God (Rev 19:13). He is the Word of Life and eternal life to you and me (1 John 1:1-2).
Jesus is the sum of God’s love letter written to you - on the Cross, He ripped open His heart, and allowed His Firstborn and only Son to be crucified so that you and I can have eternal Life! If you allow the Word, which is Jesus Christ, to transform you, you will be changed from glory to glory (2 Co 3:18). That is why it is so important to see Christ in every Scripture, and Christ in every experience! Read the Word in a Christological way, and look for Jesus Christ in every Scripture (see My Father’s Final Word). Do you want to taste and live in this fullness, have life more abundantly (John 10:10)? Then immerse yourself in the Word: eat it, meditate upon it, let it wash you and renew your mind, and let the Word of Life, Jesus Christ Himself, arise to His full stature in you! Jesus Christ is the Word, and you are also a word from the Father. Before the foundation of the earth He spoke your name and decreed His purpose for your life (Eph 1). In Is 55:11 He promises you today that you will not return to Him void, but that you will accomplish that for which He has sent you. Each of us is a unique and promise-filled word, and together we form a sentence, a letter of God’s love and salvation for the world to read. What an awesome privilege! Have a supernatural Monday!
