Boldness

Cast not away therefore your boldness, which hath great recompense of reward. Heb 10:35

 God wants you to be bold. He gave you His Holy Spirit to empower you to speak and live boldly, not to be fearful and timid. More than 365 times the Bible tells us not to fear - more than once for each day of the year! The enemy, who is a liar and deceiver wants you to be a coward, to fear and to feel unworthy. The essence of boldness is to boldly proclaim the Gospel of grace and salvation and to testify about Jesus Christ (Acts 1:8).

THE THINGS THAT HAVEN’T BEEN DONE BEFORE 

The things that haven’t been done before,
Those are the things to try;
Columbus dreamed of an unknown shore
At the rim of the far-flung sky,
And his heart was bold and his faith was strong
As he ventured in dangers new,
And he paid no heed to the jeering throng
Or the fears of the doubting crew.
The things that haven’t been done before,
Are the tasks worthwhile today;
Are you one of the flock that follows, or

Are you one that shall lead the way?
Are you one of the timid souls that quail
At the jeers of a doubting crew,
Or dare you, whether you win or fail,
Strike out for a goal that’s new?

Look for at least one opportunity today to step out in faith to boldly testify about Jesus Christ to someone.
