Enthusiasm

What is it that fills you with enthusiasm, that energizes you and lead to great accomplishment and fulfillment in your life? Christians ought to be the most enthusiastic of all people. The word enthusiasm originates from the word en + theos (God) and denotes a belief in special revelations of the Holy Spirit, strong excitement of feeling, and something inspiring zeal or fervour.

God is the source of our enthusiasm - how can we not be enthusiastic? He is enthusiastic about you - therefore you should be enthusiastic about Him and what He has planted in your heart. Paul was a man of enthusiasm - he was so enthusiastic about the Gospel that some  people in Corinth accused him of madness ( 2 Cor 5:13).

Enthusiasm is like steam that pressurizes, empowers and impels action. If you are not enthusiastic about something in your life, you are in danger of becoming idle, negative and worrisome. Some people just oozes enthusiasm and it attracts people, resources, happiness and fulfillment, because they sow the wind and therefore they reap the whirlwind ( Gal 6:7).

Enthusiasm can be developed and cultivated. It is possible to be enthusiastic anywhere and in any circumstance because Godly enthusiasm will deliver you from self-pity and worry, because it will focus you on the source of enthusiasm, God Himself! (Heb 12:1-2)

Ask God today to renew your enthusiasm to accomplish the dream that He has placed in your heart.
